I don't think Clowe is in a different fighting class, he just won that fight.

I think he just means in experience. It showed by how he kept Kassian off balance with the jersey tugging.

I saw the fight and it's like Clowe tug and pulled him like a rag doll. He just knows the hidden secrets of on ice boxing matches.

Stortini is the worst fighter I've seen...other than Crosby and Semin play-doh chops.

We've all wanted to do it, he just did it.

Refs can't touch us anymore since the Burrows/Auger incident, Canucks players are immune from prosecution.

I really think that people are too tough on Burrows. While he is a biting kind of player, he really is a postive on the team. He does not go out to hurt people, is excellent at the shootout and clearly has good hands around the net.

burrows is an exceptional motivator. just ask the boys on causeway. it's hard to hate a team more than the habs, but burrows and friends really grow on you.

I wonder if anything happens with Stuart now since Landeskog is out with a head injury. It didnt look like that bad of a hit but based on the NHL's defitions, point of impact was the head and he left his feet a bit, it should of warrented a fine/suspension. I know they said there wouldnt be after the game, but do the look at it again bc there is an injury?

Landy had his head down so he should of gotten popped in the name of old time hockey, but this is the new NHL.

My favourite Alex Burrows high light:

What's not to like about that kind of team mate?

One thing people arent talking about with Marleau is, the Sharks are crushing teams (+15 defferential) so he isnt playing very much at the end of games. With the condenced scheduel we are giving alot more 3rd period playing time to the third an fourth line guys. And that includes powerplay time. So he is scoring all these goal with less time on ice than most other super stars in the leauge

Gotta see the video again as I only saw a quick view of it on TV but from what I remember is it was shoulder to shoulder and then up to the head and what hit doesn't leave the feet when it makes contact? Did he jump before contact? Anyone got a good link to a video of the hit?

From this view to me looks like shoulder to shoulder and he didn't get up in the air till the collision happened and they both go up, physics in action.

Hooray for not playing your 30+ year old forwards 23 minutes a night!
If they keep giving Greiss starts then maybe we won't have a team that is exhausted by the time playoffs roll around

Seriously? The head is first point of contact.

Those announcers are homers.

The head is the first point of contact but this is where the NHL needs to take a stand and say keep your (frank)ing head up. Is Brad Stuart supposed to not run Landeskog over because he isn't looking?

You're in the NHL. Be aware of your surroundings.
